I have been in the insurance and real estate business since 1985. I am licensed in personal and commercial lines of insurance, specializing in farm and crop insurance. I have been a real estate broker since 1989, with a focus in agland sales. I am a Certified General Property Appraiser in Iowa and Minnesota, appraising agricultural, residential and commercial property. I am a partner in Central States Agency which was established in 2005. I have been privileged to make friendships and establish long-term relationships with clients over the past 33 years.

I grew up on a farm north of Ledyard. After attending NIACC and receiving my BA from UNI, I started working with insurance and real estate. I live in Ledyard with my wife Sharon. I've been a member of the Ledyard Fire Department since 1986 and a trustee of Kossuth Regional Healther Center since 1999. In 2013, I became a board member with Heartland Mutual Insurance.

I enjoy golfing, fishing, traveling, and spending time at the lake.
